Patient Information
Registration
To register a patient you need to attend the surgery to complete a registration form and a new patient questionnaire. The ideal time to call would be between 9.00am and 3.00pm when our office manager is available to see you. You may say which GP you would prefer to be registered with and our Office Manager/Reception Staff are here to guide you with this.
Zero Tolerance
The practice operates a zero tolerance policy this means that anyone who partakes in violent/abusive behaviour on practice premises will be taken off the list.
Complaints
All complaints should be made in writing to the Practice Manager Mrs Margaret Sinnott.
Patient Confidentiality
Your personal medical information held within your records is stored safely and securely. All staff employed by NHS organisations have a legal duty to keep information about you confidential and secure. All the staff, doctors, nurses and administration staff, work to a Code of Conduct for handling patient information, and have all signed a confidentiality agreement.
Information regarding a patient will only be passed to said patient. Unless, as in the case of requests for information from outside agencies, there is a signed authority from the patient for it’s release.
